This week I wrapped up development on a new Blog Admin interface, a foundational feature for my unified web platform. This new system allows me to easily create, edit, and publish content from a streamlined dashboard. While it’s a major usability win for managing my personal blog on rgodfrey.com, the broader value lies in the design patterns and workflows established through this implementation.
The Blog Admin feature is one of the first modular components in a growing application suite designed to consolidate and manage content, tools, and services across multiple domains: rgodfrey.com, exaas.com, 1timepassword.com, phishfood.io, and laserbakery.com. Each site has its own focus, from personal branding and professional services to cybersecurity and small business tooling, but they will all share the same platform foundation. This consolidation will allow me to manage everything centrally while providing role and tenant based separation under a single, extensible architecture.
During the build, I used AI to augment my workflow, not as a shortcut, but as a thought partner. It helped validate ideas, highlight alternative approaches, and assist in creating repeatable code scaffolding. However, real development still requires experience, foresight, and planning. AI is most valuable when paired with critical thinking and clear goals, it’s not a replacement for expertise, but a tool that can accelerate well defined efforts.
With this blog management milestone complete, I’m shifting focus back to the broader platform roadmap. Upcoming priorities include:
This is just the beginning, but it sets the tone for a platform built to grow with my vision...secure, modular, and built for scale.
